Based on a story in The Weekly World News, BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL is a musical comedy/horror show about a half boy/half bat creature who is discovered in a cave near Hope Falls, West Virginia. For lack of a better solution, the local sheriff brings Bat Boy to the home of the town veterinarian, Dr. Parker, where he is eventually accepted as a member of the family and taught to act like a “normal” boy by the veterinarian’s wife, Meredith, and teenage daughter, Shelley. Bat Boy is happy with his new life, but soon the entire town arrives and hears the shocking story of Bat Boy’s unholy origin.

Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stagecraft. The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

PHOENIX’S 35TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!

We’re bringing it back to where everything started: The very first Phoenix Productions show was a run of Jesus Christ Superstar at Christian Brothers Academy’s Henderson Theater in the summer of 1988.

35 years later, we’re happy to celebrate on the Count Basie Center stage with a special symphonic concert performance of Jesus Christ Superstar, featuring a 35-piece orchestra. The show will serve as the Count Basie Center’s Winter Gala, honoring SoVonna Day-Goins and Joe Wajda, longtime Phoenix supporters and chairs of the Basie Center’s Phoenix Operations Committee.
